This is not a Steenbolk, but (probably) a
fivebeard rockling (Ciliata mustela)
By the way, it is an excellent picture!
Where did you got it from?
And for your interest,
the english name of the fish called Steenbolk in dutch
is Pouting, the scientific name is Trisopterus luscus.
Both are related to cod.
You can find all this information on
http://www.fishbase.org/
They have info on almost every
species of fish in the world,
over 20000 species!

Dit is geen Steenbolk, maar (vermoedelijk)
een Vijfdradige Meun (Ciliata mustela)
Wel allebei familie van de kabeljauw.
Overigens een prima plaatje!
Waar heb je het vandaan?
To complete my story I attached
a picture of a real Steenbolk or Pouting
(for private use only)
