The two-tailed pasha or foxy emperor (Charaxes jasius) is a butterfly in the family Nymphalidae. It is the only European species of the genus Charaxes. Charaxes jasius occurs in the Mediterranean region and Africa.
The western yellow caper white (Belenois hedyle) is a butterfly in the Pieridae family. It is found in Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Benin and western Nigeria. The habitat consists of edges of dry forests.
The small copper, American copper, or common copper (Lycaena phlaeas) is a butterfly of the Lycaenids or gossamer-winged butterfly family. It is widespread and common across Europe, Asia, and North America, and also found in North Africa south through to Ethiopia. |
