형태적 특징
몸 빛깔은 짙은 회색 바탕에 아가미뚜껑 앞쪽, 제1등지느러미 아래, 제2등지느러미 연조부
뒤쪽 아래에 폭 넓은 검은 색의 반점이 있으며, 또 제1등지느러미, 제 2등지느러미 후반부,
가슴.꼬리지느러미 뒷부분은 검은 색을 띤다.
몸은 굵고 짧으며, 머리는 매우 납작하여 등쪽은 편평하고 뒤쪽은로 갈수록 점차 측편되어
진다. 아래턱의 호흡판에는 오렌지색의 긴 띠모양의 피질돌기가 있다.
