Anderson’s gerbil is a nocturnal animal, specialized on seeds (i.e. Thymelea hirsute). It breeds in late winter or early spring, coinciding with the annual seed shedding. Female gives birth to a litter of three to seven offspring after a gestation period that lasts for 20 to 22 days. |
