Arizona 2005
Charlie and I took a vacation to Arizona,
hoping to catch the early part of the bird migration and the tail end of the
desert flower season. It turned out we were late for the flowers and early for
the most of the birds, but it was still a lot of fun. We visited Bosque del
Apache NWR in New Mexico, Cave Creek and the Chiricahua Mountains in AZ,
Huachuca Mtns., Patagonia area and the Sonoita Creek TNC Preserve, Patagonia
Lake State Park, the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area near Sierra
Vista, and Organ Pipe National Monument.
Here's some of the birds we saw and were able to photograph.
