Chiloe Wigeon (Anas sibilatrix)
Of all the Wigeon types the Chiloe Wigeon is the most beautiful. Chiloe
Wigeons breed well in captivity and requires no special maintenance techniques.
They are very social birds especially during non-breeding season, but
may on occasion bully other birds during breading season. Chiloe Wigeons
have short bills and therefore feed well on dry land. The drake keeps
its beautiful plumage all year.
