The name (Black-Vulture), in English Language, is correct.
This vulture is more commom in Bel??m city (Par?? State -
Brazil) and in closest areas.
I'm in S??o Jos?? dos Campos city (S??o Paulo state - Brazil),
but I was born im Bel??m. This vulture is commomlly named as
"urubu", and the king-vulture as "urubu real".

My husband and I thought we saw 2 of these beautiful birds
on a recent walk along a creek in Pleasanton, California USA.
Is this possible? The birds we saw had red heads and looked like
these black vultures.
