During a long afternoon/evening seawatch,
we had
Laysan Albatrosses
almost constantly in sight (conservatively
estimated at 40 individuals, as several were clearly following the ship),

Black-footed Albatross
, and a single
Mottled Petrel
, that
seemed to have used a catapult to rise off the ocean and zing past the
