Dendrocygna eytoni This duck lives in Australian dams, water holes, lagoons and
grasslands, where it is also known as Grass Whistling-Duck. Forms
dense flocks during the daytime, feeding on green grasses and
seeds in smaller groups at night. Breeds from the second year,
sometimes first year, laying 10 to 12 white, smooth and pointed
eggs.
