Size: 30cm
Habitat: Occurring from Maryborough in QLD to Southern NSW, this bird inhabits rainforests at altitudes above 500 meters. Lives on fruit, seeds, insects, frogs and nestlings. Distinctive call resembles a cats mee-oow.
Notes: Green bird with white spots on breast and belly, red eye and strong pale bill. Breeds Spring-Summer.
