California Kingsnake "50/50" (L.g. californiae)

This beautiful, and contrasting snake is known as the "50/50" Cal. King... because they normally have thinner white bands... the bands on this animal are the same width... thus the name 50/50. These snakes can be extremely variable and come in many different varieties, depending on their locality... either being banded, striped down the back, mottled with blotches, or combinations thereof...,dark, yellowish ground color, ect... It has a broad range from Oregon, to southern Utah,Arizona, Nevada, California, and the Baja peninsula of Mexico. This is a captive, selectively bred animal, notably for it's broad white bands and clean, vivid coloration.
