Chestnut-rumped Woodcreeper in Suriname

Beautiful sharp photo of a chestnut-rumped woodcreeper, made
by Brian O'Shea in the Ralleigh Falls nature reserve in 2002.
These woodcreepers are common in the interior and are sometimes
found in mixed-species groups, that might follow army ants. Otte
Ottema recorded the
sound of the
chestnut-rumped woodcreper
in the Peperpot plantation near
paramaribo in Suriname.
Each small square indicates the observation of at least one
(group) of these birds in Suriname, the medium ones at least 4
observations on different days and the largest ones 10 or more.
The color of each square indicates: blue for coastal area, yellow
for savanna and red for rainforest.
