Hi, John:

I took a picture of what I think is a cottonmouth that was in a hole in the ground at the edge of our pond. I sent it to the local 4H Club and they didn't know exactly what it was.

Looking at your photos, it appears that my snake photo has a strong resemblance in color and type.
