Description
Babouin solidement bâti au pelage brun-vert chiné, à la barbe pointue orange, calotte crêtée. Face ventrale blanche terne à grise. Chez les mâles, la face nue et le postérieur sont richement colorés en rouge, blanc et bleu. Les mâles portent un renflement bleu électrique rainuré de chaque côté du nez qui lui donne une allure hargneuse.
The mandrill (Mandrillus sphinx) is a primate of the Old World monkey (Cercopithecidae) family. Mandrills are found in southern Cameroon, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, and Congo. Mandrills mostly live in tropical rainforests. They live in very large groups. Mandrills have an omnivorous diet consisting mostly of fruits and insects.
