I would not have believed this if I had not seen it and got the photograph. I have watching and photographing this spider for about three weeks. It lives in a burrow in my neighbours yard. It has been raining for several days off and on. Finally the sun came out and so did my spider...to sunbake...in this photo you can see how its spreed its legs around its hole to lock itself into the top of its hole so it can get warmed by the sun. Unbelieveable...Normally its just waiting at the enterance with one or two legs just near the lip of its hole... |
