Size: 17cm
Habitat: Ranging form South east Queensland through coastal NSW, VIC to SA, as well Southern WA, this bird prefers coastal heaths and woodlands. Feeds mainly on nectar, particularly from Banksias.
Notes: Streaked black and white bird with yellow patch on wings, white eye ring, long black bill, black legs. Breeds Autumn and Spring.
