Spectacled bear


Spectacled bear, small black bear that lives in the forests of the Andes. It has light brown, spectacle-like rings around its eyes and is the only native bear of the Southern Hemisphere. Height: 70-90cm. Family Ursidae; species Tremarctos ornatus.
