The thornback ray or thornback skate (Raja clavata) is a species of fish in the Rajidae family. Raja clavata is found in coastal waters of Europe and the Atlantic coast of Africa, possibly as far south as Namibia and even South Africa.

The cownose ray (Rhinoptera bonasus) is a species of eagle ray found throughout a large part of the western Atlantic and Caribbean, from New England, United States to southern Brazil.

The devil fish or giant devil ray (Mobula mobular) is an endangered species of eagle ray in the family Myliobatidae. Devil fish are most common in the Mediterranean Sea and can be found elsewhere in the Eastern Atlantic Ocean, off the southwest coast of Ireland and south of Portugal, and possibly in the northwest Atlantic.
