This very small young fellow was found happily wandering on our
driveway. He was identified as a Sphinx Moth caterpillar which cocoons
underground, according to my wife's reference books. After a photo
session he was placed in a branch where he survived an attack by a
Cuban anole, (I was too slow on the draw for that picture), and
eventually made its way into the bush and, I hope, cocoonhood etc.
