King mackerel (Scomberomorus cavalla) is a migratory species of mackerel family Scombridae found in the subtropical and tropical waters off North America and the Caribbean. The king mackerels are known to make long seasonal migrations in large schools and are often found as solitary individuals or in small groups around outer reefs and depths up to 140 meters.

*** Scomberomorus maculatus / Atlantic Spanish mackerel ***
The Atlantic Spanish mackerel (Scomberomorus maculatus) is a migratory species of mackerel that swims to the northern Gulf of Mexico in spring, returns to southern Florida in the eastern Gulf, and to Mexico in the western Gulf in the fall. It is a fast-swimming predatory fish that feeds mainly on small fishes, shrimp, and squid. The fish exhibits a green back and its sides are silvery marked with about three rows of round to elliptical yellow spots. It has a single row of cutting-edged teeth in each jaw, which are large, uniform, closely spaced, and flattened from side to side. Spanish mackerel can grow up to 91-94 cm and weigh up to 6.4kg.
