What is this bird? It eats from my humming bird feeder in San Diego :)
These birds are beautiful, about 7 inches tall and we have a pair. They don't stay long and are easily scared off. They usually stand very tall and strong. Would love to know anything you know about them.

looks like a Hooded Oriole, Icterus cucullatus. |

From the information I can gather they are orioles. They live in North America in the summer and winter in tropical Mexico and South America. |
