The frigate mackerel has a long, robust body, with a pronounced belly and deep light blue skin. The back is crossed by dark undulating lines while the belly is silver.
The pointed head has a small mouth with tiny teeth. The frigate mackerel can reach 50 cm in length and 1.5 kg in weight. |
