New foster kids
My sister emailed me the other day and said she had to go to the airport and
collect two packages from Perth W.A. (some 2000 km from her town) Let me
present the "packages".......
Badger is a 9 month old male red kangaroo who weighs 4 kilos. He still
has 4 bottles a day and is starting to eat some solids. The other little
"sad sack" is a female of the same species (I think) who is a lot younger
and weighs in at a hefty one kilo. She hasn't been named yet. You can see
why the boys grow up to be "big reds", and why the girls are called "blue
flyers" Hopefully my sister will decide to foster them herself, and we will
get some more cute joey pics as they grow.... Betty |
