 As far as I know these are ordinary mandarin ducks But part of their
 wings or wing feathers was missing to prevent them escaping. That could
 explain the difference. Maybe I should not post pictures of mutilated
 birds, but they still looked very cute, alo because they were making
 a nice couple.
