Size: 50-60cm
Habitat: This introduced species ranges from South East QLD south to the Eyre Peninsular. Found in parks, ponds, lakes, dams and creeks. Feeds on aquatic plant matter, amphibians, invertebrates and seeds.
Notes: Green head with white neck ring, bill yellow, brown chest, paler brown body and wings. Breeds all seasons.
