The jungle cat (Felis chaus), also called reed cat or swamp cat, is a medium-sized cat native to the Middle East, South and Southeast Asia to southern China.
The Southern African wildcat (Felis silvestris cafra) is one of five subspecies of the wildcat, and is native to southern and south-eastern Africa.
The jaguarundi (Puma yagouaroundi) or eyra cat is a small wild cat native to southern North America and South America.
The cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) is a large felid of the subfamily Felinae that occurs mainly in eastern and southern Africa and a few parts of Iran.
The jaguar (Panthera onca) is a big cat, a feline in the Panthera genus, and is the only extant Panthera species native to the Americas.
The snow leopard or ounce (Panthera uncia syn. Uncia uncia) is a large cat native to the mountain ranges of Central and South Asia. Based on genotyping studies, the snow leopard has been considered a member of the genus Panthera since 2008. |
