LAKE
BARINGO,
the second fresh water lake in the Rift Valley. We
look for the beautiful but rare Verreaux eagle (Aquila verreauxi) hunting hyraxes in the nearby cliff. Between trees along the
lake shore the brown and white morph of the African paradise fly-catcher (Terpsiphone viridis)
hunts insects. In the camp or the lodge you get visited by different
hornbills and glossy starlings.
