Pallas' cat, rare, small, long-haired cat that lives in burrows or among the rocks of Asian deserts. It has small rounded ears, short legs and a compact body. The coat is silvery grey and yellowy brown with dark stripes on the face, back, forelimbs and tail. It feeds on small birds and rodents. Length: to 50m. Family Felidae; species Felis manul. |
