Paradise Riflebird
Size: 25-30cm
Habitat: Located in the rainforests of Southeast Queensland and Northern NSW, climbs through the rainforest canopy tearing away rotten wood in search of insects and fruit.
Notes: Black bird with iridescent green/blue crown, throat, breast and tail, long black bill. Females brown with paler chest and belly. Breeds Spring-Mid Summer.
