This is a beautiful picture of a Lilac crowned amazon, not a
Mexican Redhead. Mexican Redheads have a brighter, bigger red
patch covering its lore and part of its crown. The green is
darker and the blueish color is bluer on a Mexican Redhead.
Thanks

This is a Amazona finschi woodi, a rarer and larger subspecy
of the Lilac-crowned Amazon. The common type of Lilac-crowned
Amazon (Amazona finschi finschi) have scarlet-red front and
more violet-blue headfeathers - hence the name Lilac-crowned
Amazon. The Amazona Finschi woodi somewhat duller in color,
with a narrower forehead.
