PACIFIC SWALLOW, PEKEPEKA (Hirundo tahitica)
DESCRIPTION:
Back and wings dark grey to black. Underparts paler and faintly barred. Throat brownish red. Tail slightly forked. This bird is almost always seen in flight, though it is able to land and take off from the ground.
