The binturong (Arctictis binturong), also known as bearcat, is a viverrid native to South and Southeast Asia. Although called 'bearcat', this omnivorous mammal is neither related to bears nor cats but to the palm civets of Asia. Its genus name Arctictis means ‘bear-weasel’.

The sun bear (Helarctos malayanus) is a bear found in tropical forest habitats of Southeast Asia. The Malayan sun bear is also known as the "honey bear", which refers to its voracious appetite for honeycombs and honey.

3. Ailurus fulgens = red panda (Ailurus fulgens)
The red panda (Ailurus fulgens), also called the lesser panda, the red bear-cat, and the red cat-bear, is a mammal native to the eastern Himalayas and southwestern China. The red panda is the only living species of the genus Ailurus and the family Ailuridae.

4. Nasua rufa = ring-tailed coati (Nasua nasua)
The South American coati, or ring-tailed coati (Nasua nasua), is a species of coati from tropical and subtropical South America. In Brazilian Portuguese it is known as quati.
