Family Chamaeleonidae
These small leaf-shaped chameleons lack a prehensile tail like their larger
cousins. Most frequently encountered 10 - 50 cm above ground on fern fronds along trails and streams at night.
Most specimens were positioned with their heads downward. At night,
R. boulengeri
is the most commonly encountered
lizard in BINP. Many of the specimens produced buzzing vibrations when collected.
