The illuminated netdevil (Linophryne arborifera) is an anglerfish of the family Linophrynidae, found in all tropical and subtropical oceans at depths below 1,000 m in the Bathyal zone. The female is up to 77 mm and significantly larger than the mature, parasitic male which reaches only 15 mm long.
