Great Cormorant
Size: 80cm
Habitat: Found throughout Australia except dry arid areas. Likes larger waterways and coastal bays. Feeds mainly on fish which it hunts by diving underwater and snatching its prey with its strong beak.
Notes: Head and body black, yellowish chin. Breeds mid Summer to early Spring.
