FEATURES OF THE MUSTANG
Originally, mustangs were much finer looking than they are today, having descended from beautiful Spanish Barbs and Andalusian horses. Occasionally, a purer breed will be found
Because mustangs have interbred with so many different types of horses, they have no uniform body type of coat color. But in order to withstand the hardship of their environment, they remain small - no more than 14 hands - with a sturdy build and a wiry frame. |

You are right phoby, mustangs are small and untamed that what makes them cool and fun to read about. |

Yeah, over time farmers and such let their horses free and they mixed with the mustangs creating a very diverse breed. |
