As a zoologist, specialist in the study of this species, I was astonished
to see it regarded as a mountain goat. The species is Ammotragus lervia,
whose common English name in Barbary sheep, although is not a real sheep,
but the ancestor of both modern sheep and goats. Other names for the species
are Aoudad and Arrui.
