Fin whale
Fin whales are the second largest whale species after the blue. They are fast swimmers and can live for up to 100 years.
According to the International Fund for Animal Welfare Charitable Trust, there are now around 170,000 worldwide from an estimated high of 550,000 before hunting. A limited number are caught annually by whalers from Greenland
