At 125 cm in length, the Himalayan vulture is a large and massive bird found in the Himalayan range. It is found in mountains, especially on routes used by animals who hunt in packs. An adult Himalayan vulture has a large and broad body with a long tail. Its facial skin is pale grey and pinkish in colour. The Himalayan vulture feeds on the carcass of dead yaks and other animals. |
