The Nehu, Encrasicholina purpurea, is a ray-finned fish from the family of anchovies (engraulidae) and the order of Clupeiformes. This fish can reach the length of 7 cm. The species is found in seawater and brackish water. The fish prefers a tropical climate and lives mainly in the Pacific.
