The common birdwing (Troides helena) is a butterfly belonging to the family Papilionidae. Globally it is found in Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Myanmar, peninsular and eastern Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Laos, Kampuchea, Thailand, Vietnam, southern China including Hainan, and Hong Kong.
The ruby-spotted swallowtail or red-spotted swallowtail (Papilio anchisiades) is a butterfly of the family Papilionidae. It is found from southern Texas south to Argentina. Rare strays can be found up to Kansas, southeastern Arizona, and western Texas. |
