Golden Silk Spider. Large spider is female with two smaller males on the web. Females can attain lengths of 30-40 mm, while males are only 4-6 mm. These spiders feed primarily on flying insects which they capture in their webs which can attain greater than 1-meter diameter. Sapelo Island National Estuarine Research Reserve.
