"Not the greatest photo, and it's a captive bird, but was unrepresented in the Field Guide, and something is better than nothing. At the Jurong Bird Park, Singapore. Avibase says they're endangered. The Black-winged Starling (Sturnus melanopterus) is a species of starling in the Sturnidae family. It is endemic to Indonesia.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, and pastureland.
