Size: 11cm
Habitat: Inhabiting most parts Australia except the most arid areas, this bird favours eucalypt forest but will live anywhere with trees and shrubs. Feeds on a wide variety of insects and their larvae.
Notes: White head with black wings often seen soaring at great heights. Breeds when conditions are good.
