Dear friends:
The photo about "Lagostomus maximus" in url:
http://www.animalpicturesarchive.com/animal/EngNames/viscacha.html
in inexact. These animal are call "Vizcachas or
Viscachas" too, but are not the Lagostomus maxims. The
animal of your photo live in North Argentina, Bolivia,
part of Chile an Peru and they have a day habitat.
Lagostomus trichodactylus.or Lagostomus maximus have
since crepuscular habitat, through the night until
sunrise.
You find out it, I set you an e mail and photo, be care with,
thats is no mine (download of Internet). it is just to ilustrate to you then to compare and you see the error. Excuse me by the

| Fernando, that should be the Lagostomus maximus. It's markings identify it an argentine anilmal alone. The composure its silouette labors could pique the posture of recognition. Please reply. viscachera@yahoo.com |
