A subspecies of common carp. This carp subspecies was bred from common carp in Germany during the World War II and was introduced to Korea in 1973.
"향어"는 유럽원산의 비늘없는 잉어의 개량종으로 1973년에 이스라엘에서 도입되었다고 해서 "이스라엘잉어"라고도 한답니다. 일반 잉어가 대개 2~3백g 정도 자라는 반면 이놈은 1kg까지 자란다고 하는군요.
대전에서 공주가는 길목의 궁중칼국수 식당에서 찍었습니다.
