All these taken a couple of weeks ago at a rehab center for wildlife a bit
north of Phoenix in AZ. If the animal could not survive on his own, he was
slated to do "education". This red-tail hawk had one eye shot out by a bb
gun just after he had first fledged. He could not be released as he had no
hunting skills. I took his "good" side and then flipped the photograph.
