Snakes Caught in Sticky Rodent Traps
Had several rescues where snake we captured in sticky adhesive traps. These
traps are indiscriminate killers and really should be outlawed or redesigned
so that non-targeted animals don't get caught.
To free the animals: Cover the remaining adhesive with flour to neutralize.
Apply copious amounts of vegetable oil and using a Q-tip apply small amounts
of a solvent called Goo Gone. |
