The Borneo python, Python breitensteini, is a non-venomous python species endemic to the island of Borneo, also known as the Bornean short python or Borneo short-tailed python. These pythons are heavy-bodied, with adults typically reaching 1.2 metres (4 feet) in length, though some can grow up to 2.1 metres (7 feet). Their colouration varies, often featuring tan or brown blotching, with some individuals displaying lighter, more yellow hues.
