Bull ray (Aetomylaeus bovinus)
A bull ray is a large, flattened ray with a distinctive, wide, duck-bill-like head and a long, whip-like tail. They are typically light brown or olive on top and white underneath, with juveniles sometimes showing blue-grey stripes. They have a rhombic disc and can grow to a width of up to 2.5 metres and a total length of nearly 3 metres. |
